G.R. 24. - gravestone record, Mosher private lot, Sodom, Westport, Vital Records to 1850. The address used to be Sodom Road. This database separates out the formerly combined Petty-Mosher Cemetery into separate cemeteries because they are separated by a stone wall. This cemetery was formerly on land owned by George Medeiros. The land was sold to Maya Way Land Development Company which divided the parcel into 10 lots. The Mosher Cemetery is a separate burial ground which has been abandoned and is now located across a wall from map 68, lot 3D (as of May 2022) and from the Petty Cemetery. The gravestones were removed perhaps inadvertently. The owner of 11 Maya Way had a stone wall built around it.
