G.R. 27. - gravestone record, Wood private lot, Sodom Road, Westport, Vital Records to 1850. On private property about 1/3 of a mile west of the 1830 Devol farmstead on Sodom Road. This property is under a preservation restriction. An engraved fieldstone with the identification WSP 856 is located outside and to the right of the sheepsgate to the cemetery. This is the only cemetery in Westport where we have found a sheepsgate.
