Other InformationWilliam H. Cook enlisted as a private in the 21st Unattached Co., MA Volunteer Infantry on Nov.9,1864 at the age of 24.
He gave his residence as Tiverton at the time of his enlistment and he mustered out on June 28, 1865.
William is buried beneath a Veterans Administration gravestone which contains the inscription "21 Mass. Inf."
